Description
After spending so much of the season seeking pitching -- and indeed, that search is not nearly over -- the Twins struggled to score runs against the beatable Tigers and Cubs in a weird early week series. Dan has better options for the MLB to handle the Twins/Tigers singleton, and David doesn't let him get away with his comparison between Andrelton Simmons and future Hall of Famer Albert Pujols. Meanwhile, David finds it inexplicable that the Twins haven't benched Simmons and Jake Cave in favor of younger players, yet he revels in another Puckett's Picks victory that pushes him ever so closer to clinching a season title. The boys also look to 2022 and agree that the front office should try to make this team competitive, because in baseball, you really never quite know what's in store the next season.
