it's time to accept that the past won't change.
it's good to look at it and realize the lessons you needed to learn, but ruminating in the past is a dead end.
I've had to learn that taking people for who they are is the most important thing you can do. it doesn't mean you shouldn't take accountability for your actions, but forgiveness is a two way street.
don't confine yourself within who you used to be. you are the person you are right now.
