The Tampa Bay Rays suffered their worst series loss of the year, losing to the Miami Marlins 5-1. The Rays scored first in the 3rd inning off a Yandy Diaz fielders choice to make it 1-0. But the Rays could not take advantage of having bases loaded 0 outs to extent the lead. Shane Baz was not very good today for the Rays. He ended up going 6 IP but gave up 5 ER, 9 hits and had more walks than strike outs. The Marlins had control for most of the game as the Rays finish the road trip 3-3. Tampa will start a long home stand tomorrow night vs the Astros.
