BeatKing is an artist and producer from Houston, Texas who has been perfecting his craft since 16 years old. He has numerous local hits under his belt and just this year he released his nationwide banger “Then Leave”, landing him a deal with Columbia Records. In a recent interview on The Progress Report Podcast, BeatKing talks changing Houston’s sound, coming up listening to Da Brat and Three 6 Mafia, meeting Gangsta Boo through DJ SpeakerFoxxx and later recording 2 mixtapes, receiving support from Cardi B, Offset, and Drake, fake love in the industry and is considered the Uncle Luke of today’s generation.
