 Bartimaeus was a nobody. A blind beggar. But Jesus passed by, heard him cry out, and stopped. Jesus saw him, called him, loved him and healed him. In this sermon Pastor Adam unpacks Jesus’ healing of blind Bartimaeus in Mark chapter 10. Where do you find your sense of significance? The world, and even the disciples, often desire to be seen by others, but Bartimaeus simply wanted to see and be seen by Jesus. He cried out in humble faith, believing Jesus was the Messiah, the “Son of David,” and it changed everything. Be encouraged, Jesus still passes by, still hears, still stops, and still saves!
