Acts 4:1-22. The power of the Spirit working through Peter & John continues to reverberate through the people and the religious hierarchy in Jerusalem. When called to account for their actions in healing the man paralyzed since birth, Peter is filled with the Holy Spirit and begins to preach Jesus risen from the dead. But the last thing the religious leaders want is God moving in power among them outside of all their prescribed boxes, but God isn't concerned with our petty preferences, then or now.
