Description
In the heart of a remote forest in Maine, 1903, a group of firefighters battling a seasonal blaze stumbled upon something utterly unexplainable: a solitary, freestanding concrete staircase. There were no ruins, no surrounding buildings, and no signs of a foundation. Just stairs, clean and cold, pointing skyward in the middle of nowhere.
Out of curiosity and confusion, a few members of the team decided to climb the structure. Those who did were never seen again.
