This year he has just won the Northern Traverse. The 180 mile ultramarathon that follows the wainwright coast to coast route.

James tells about his journey into running. His self-coaching approach and his preparation for his recent win.

We also talk about the effect that being a new dad has on his training and performance.

James is genuinely a great guy and it was a pleasure to talk to him.
