Welcome! On today's podcast, we have Chris Villani. Chris is the general manager of merchandise and marketing at Foodland supermarkets Australia. In a not so unusual story, Chris started his marketing career by moving from Adelaide to the eastern states of Australia, but quite unusually Chris actually headed back to his home state for his current role. Chris has witnessed firsthand the world-class training that they're marketing scientists receive, his now snap up three of them for his own personal team! Chris has this wonderful ability to be mentored by those he admires but provides his mentees with enough room to grow, aiming that one day they will no longer need him, a trait that I personally quite admire.
