Story Transcript:

En: Ljubljana was bathed in the spring sun, which played through the clouds and gently illuminated the main square.

Sl: Na tržnici je vladal živahen vrvež.
En: There was a lively bustle at the market.

Sl: Prodajalci so glasno ponujali svoje blago, kupci pa so se ustavljali ob stojnicah, občudovali svežo zelenjavo, domače izdelke in pisane cvetlice.
En: Vendors loudly offered their goods, while buyers stopped by the stalls, admiring the fresh vegetables, homemade products, and colorful flowers.

En: There was the scent of freshly baked bread and flowers displaying themselves in all possible colors in the air.

En: Matej walked through the market with a notebook in hand, searching for inspiration for his new story.

Sl: V mislih je vrtal nekaj nedokončanih zamisli, vse dokler ni pogledal proti stojnici z divjimi cvetlicami.
En: He was turning over some unfinished ideas in his mind until he looked toward the stall with wildflowers.

Sl: Tam je opazil svojo priložnost.
En: That's where he spotted his opportunity.

En: The last bouquet of fresh, colorful flowers was gleaming on the stand.

En: Walking straight toward the same bouquet was Nina.

Sl: Roke sta oba segla istočasno, oba željna zadnjega šopka.
En: Both reached for it at the same time, both eager for the last bouquet.

Sl: Matej jo je pogledal, presenečen in rahlo nasmejan.
En: Matej looked at her, surprised and slightly smiling.

Sl: "Očitno imava podoben okus," je dejal in se rahlo zasmejal.
En: "It seems we have similar taste," he said with a slight laugh.

En: Nina also smiled, although initially a bit challenged.

En: "It looks like we do," she agreed.

Sl: "Ampak potrebujem jih za raziskavo.
En: "But I need them for research."

Sl: ""Kaj pa, če jih vzameva skupaj?
En: "What if we take them together?"

Sl: " je predlagal Matej.
En: suggested Matej.

Sl: "Razdeliva ceno in jih izmenjujeva.
En: "We can split the cost and exchange them."

Sl: "Nina je pomislila in pokimala.
En: Nina thought for a moment and nodded.

Sl: "Dobro.
En: "Alright.

Sl: Posel sklenjen.

En: They agreed to meet again at the café near Tromostovje to exchange the flowers.

En: As the day was turning into the afternoon, and they met for the second time, the sky became dark.

En: The two were in the middle of a conversation about favorite books when it started to pour as if there were no tomorrow.

Sl: Oba sta hitro stekla pod bližnje d
