This is an Encore Presentation of my March 2024 interview with Eliane Elias, the extraordinary and exquisite Brazilian jazz pianist, singer and composer. She is a multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy winner. She combines Brazilian music, jazz and classical into a remarkable repertoire. Her recordings run the gamut from The Doors to Antonio Carlos Jobim to Chick Corea to Classical to Man Of La Mancha to her original compositions. She has performed with a Who’s Who of musicians including Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea and Randy Brecker.
