Detroit Tigers starter Jack Flaherty surrendered a leadoff home run to Josh Smith and the Texas Rangers never looked back, exploding for 10 runs including 4 homers to earn the win in the second game of the series. Texas Rangers starter Jacob DeGrom allowed two home runs – one to Kerry Carpenter and one to Riley Greene in a night the ball was flying out of the ballpark, but that is the only offensive damage the Tigers could amount in the 10-3 loss.
