My friend Michael Smith says the Democrats have imposed radical social policies and coercive tactics forcing Americans to comply with agendas that lack broad appeal. These policies are often cloaked in the language of progress and inclusivity, but they’re disconnected from the needs or values of most Americans. Rather than persuading the public through open debate, the democrat party has relied on institutional power. That is, government agencies, corporate allies, and media narratives to enforce compliance. This approach betrays a lack of confidence in the merit of their ideas. It seems the Democrat Party’s mindset and actions reflect a troubling reliance on government overreach and has eroded the legitimacy in the United States the world’s freest nation.
