Who Pays for Trusted Journalism in the V4?

Season 1 Episode 19 Published 5 years, 6 months ago
Description

While the state independent media environment is dire in Hungary, not all hope is lost for the rest of Central Europe. In spite of economic challenges for smaller national media outlets and risks of political polarisation contaminating quality reporting, there are a number of tools and options available to reporters, editors and publishers to weather the current storm. We speak with Aida Kaisy of the Ethical Journalism Network about her recent investigations of the media environment in the region and how trust in journalism can be (re)built.
