Several criminal incidents were reported in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas this past week. On May 7, 2025, Amy M. Ewers was arrested on four failure to appear warrants. The arrest was made by Colorado County Police Department, and the case is now moving through the judicial system.

In the Black Forest area, a theft was reported on February 22 at approximately 8:47 PM near Black Forest Road. This case was documented as a "cold" theft, indicating it was reported after the incident occurred. The case was assigned number 2023-00031789.

A traffic accident was reported on the same day at 7:29 PM at the 150 mile marker on northbound I-25 in Colorado Springs (case number 2023-00031768).
