Standard Lithium’s CEO, Robert Mintak, joins WTR’s Jesse Redmond and Jeff Robertson to discuss the company’s plans to become a major domestic producer of battery-quality lithium. The company’s projects in Southern Arkansas and exploration acreage in East Texas will extract lithium from brine produced from the Smackover formation. Smackover brines have the highest known lithium concentrations in North America and are gaining attention from other industry participants.
