    Slam the Gavel welcomes back Attorney Connie Reguli. Attorney Reguli was last on the show Season #2, Episode #98 and Season #3, Episode 63.
      Attorney Reguli has been an attorney for 27 years. She is the mother of three adopted children and knows first hand how challenging  the Family Court can be, both legally and emotionally. Using her personal and professional experience to guide clients through their case, Attorney Reguli cares about what is happening to these families and children inside the courtrooms.
     Today we focused on how Attorney Reguli's case has morphed into a criticism of public expression on Social Media to the events that had occurred in her case with Miss Hancock. This case has gone on since 2018. We discussed that the judge cannot re-write the LAW. Apparently the judge wanted Attorney Connie to admit she was wrong. Attorney Connie is standing by the truth. This judge took the language out of the law that would have required them to produce an order of VISITATION which is all Custodial Interference is all about.
    The judge had several issues with this case that we discussed as well. We discussed Amber Alerts and Social Media as well as theFirst Amendment Right of Free Speech. Attorney Connie explained the case and that the jury was not aware that the judge changed the law  three years after the fact nor was she allowed to testify. There was a lot the jury didn't get to hear. 
    Unfortunately, removing Connie has caused 30 families to be stranded without an attorney to help them get their children out of DCS involvement.
     Attorney Connie will be returning to Slam the Gavel in the future.
