De: Der Morgen im Bayerischen Wald war frisch und klar.
En: The morning in the Bayerischen Wald was fresh and clear.
De: Klaus und Greta standen am Rand des Trainingslagers.
En: Klaus and Greta stood at the edge of the training camp.
De: Klaus wollte Abenteuer.
En: Klaus wanted adventure.
De: Greta war sich da nicht sicher.
En: Greta was not so sure about that.
De: Doch heute hatte Klaus etwas gefunden. Eine Karte.
En: But today, Klaus had found something—a map.
De: "Greta, schau mal," sagte Klaus und hielt die zerknitterte Karte in die Luft.
En: "Greta, look," said Klaus, holding the crumpled map up in the air.
De: Greta runzelte die Stirn.
En: Greta frowned.
De: "Eine Karte? Und wohin soll sie führen?"

En: "Alright then," she finally said, "but we have to be careful."
