Day Late (or two) and a dollar short, BUT it's the Sugar Cookie Marketing Facebook Group Podcast, and Heather has finally landed in Virginia!

Here's what we're covering this week:

  • Intro
  • Marketing Minutes - Choice Paralysis
  • Business of Baking - Anatomy of a Presale
  • The Course - Facebook Ads
  • Voicemails / Texts / Emails (571) 556-5644
  • Group Stuff - Upcoming Lives and such.
  • Sponsors
  • Mailbag

In the Marketing Minutes, Heather recaps a post (see: book) she made in the group this past week on a psychological effect called "choice paralysis." See - when given too many choices, we make worse decisions that we're less happy with. In the world of "more is more," it's actually "less is more" when it comes to product offering. Lookin' at you, Cheesecake Factory.

In the Business of Baking, Corrie directs the anatomy of a pre-sale sell-out. From post to strategy, she's gonna tell you how she did it for Back to School Bites of Encouragement (try saying that five times fast).

We'll be launching the SCM Course in August, we'll have a Facebook Ads master who has dealt with companies spending over $250,000/MONTH in Facebook ads. Don will walk course members through creating a business manager, an ads manager, and making their first targeted ad.

In Voicemails, we talk about email list segmentation, when to pass on the discount, and photo cropping with watermarks (the key is - you crop out the watermark completely... kidding).
