This episode we are joined by 2x Olympian & World Cup Ski racer Ben Thomsen for part II of our ongoing conversation!
As discussed in part I of the show, Ben has spent 10 years on the World Cup circuit where he has competed in two Olympic games (Sochi 2014 & PyeongChang 2018)
With numerous top ten results and World Championship finishes, he has been a tough competitor from the start.
This season Ben has opted to race as solo athlete, since he was not re-selected to be a member of the Canadian National Ski Team which further adds to this great story.
We sat down for a smooth cup of rose bros coffee and talked about everything from dealing with highs & lows, how much it costs for season on the World Cup, wind tunnels, doping in ski racing, re-building Canadian ski racing and a lot more!
