In this exclusive interview, Leslie shares the wild story of how he transitioned from a rock band to screenwriting, his unique experiences in Hollywood, and the creative process behind crafting the gripping sci-fi series 'Taken.'

Leslie Bohem reveals how his unconventional path and the influence of his writer parents shaped his career. He discusses his serendipitous encounters, such as meeting Stuart Cornfeld and how a mix of arrogance and honesty landed him his first major gig. As the conversation unfolds, Leslie provides insights into his research for 'Taken,' including his exploration of alien abduction myths and attending UFO conventions.

Leslie Bohem is an American screenwriter, producer, and musician known for his work in film and television, particularly in the science fiction and thriller genres. He wrote the screenplay for Daylight (1996), starring Sylvester Stallone, and Dante’s Peak (1997), a disaster thriller featuring Pierce Brosnan and Linda Hamilton.

Bohem also created and wrote the Emmy-winning miniseries Taken (2002), produced by Steven Spielberg, which explored alien abductions and conspiracy theories. His other notable works include The Alamo (2004) and episodes for television series such as Extant (2014).

Beyond screenwriting, Bohem is a musician and was a member of the band Sparks. His career is marked by a strong blend of science fiction, action, and character-driven storytelling.
