In this episode of Profiles in Risk, I spoke with Derek Lovrenich & Phil Duncan of InsurEco. Derek will be presenting at the Silicon Valley Insurance Accelerator Blockchain conference on January 29th in Palo Alto. We discussed how companies in the insurance ecosystem should contemplate a technical and business strategy for incorporating blockchain. We went deep down the rabbit hole as I follow Derek and Phil in the oblivion of tokenizing aspects of insurance data. My personal belief is that we haven't even begun to imagine all of the possible solutions blockchain technologies will bring to insurance.
