Description

"Why don't they make the whole podcast out of Lightning Round!?" Well, that's what Joe Ovies and Joe Giglio attempted to do and ended up offering extending takes on a variety of topics to start the show. First up? The ACC wants to alter their basketball conference schedule in order to bolster their NCAA Tournament numbers. Meanwhile, in Chapel Hill, were the Tar Heels really in the running for Andrej Stojaković? And does the story do more to reveal what's going on with North Carolina's budget for Hubert Davis going forward? Speaking of UNC hoops, the "family" is beefing with Rashad McCants...again. And finally, Jordon Hudson continues to reveal herself as the main character of Bill Belichick's post NFL story. To the Carolina Hurricanes, where NJ.com columnist Steve Politi joins the show to discuss the Stanley Cup Playoffs opening round series against the New Jersey Devils. Matt Register from Southern Smoke dropped by the studio to talk BBQ and football.
