On the northern front, Israel has conducted targeted airstrikes in Lebanon, claiming to have hit Hezbollah targets amid ongoing tensions. The Lebanese group has warned of retaliation, but Israel emphasizes its measures are defensive responses to threats posed by Hezbollah’s military build-up.
In Syria, Israeli forces have continued their precision operations against Iranian-backed militias and weapon depots, aiming to prevent the transfer of advanced weaponry to Hezbollah. These strikes follow recent reports of increased Iranian activity in the region, with Israel asserting its right to defend its borders against threats originating from Syrian territory.
In Iraq, Israeli military sources confirm ongoing surveillance and limited strikes against Iranian-backed groups operating within the country. The aim remains to disrupt the flow of weapons and prevent these groups from establishing a foothold that could threaten Israeli security.
