Rep. Sarah Stevens has filed to run in the 2026 North Carolina Supreme Court race.  Congressional candidates Pat Harrigan and Richard Hudson are backing parents in a legal battle against a Charlotte private school, while lawmakers have passed several bills aimed at reducing bureaucratic delays in health care. The NC House has also approved a measure allowing handguns on private-school grounds.
