Ep.29 When Curiosity Turns Dark : Exploring the Genre of Porn
Description
In this episode, my guests and I will be diving into the wide range of pornography genres—from the more “mainstream” to the deeply disturbing. This is not an easy conversation, but it’s one I believe is absolutely necessary for us as educators, parents, professionals, and people in recovery.
I’m joined by three courageous women—Anastasia Sprout, Aly Dearborn, and Lacy Bentley—members of my FSLA (Female Sex Love Addiction) Consultation group. Together, we unpack how curiosity can quickly spiral into exposure to content that is shocking, degrading, and harmful, and why we need to be aware of what’s really out there.
⚠️ Content Warning: This episode includes explicit references to pornographic genres. Please listen with care and make sure children are not within earshot.
