#34 - Finding Peace in Hard Times with the Maha Mantra, Fasting, and Prayer

Season 1 Episode 34

Fasting day three, cold toes, soggy Wales, open heart. From a mossy temperate rainforest we talk honesty, body jitters at 5 p.m., and the sweet relief of sacred sound. Letting go of old stuff, counting pennies, finding warmth in a tiny pub and a cup of tea. A Cyndi Lauper hook floats in, time after time, and points back to the Friend in the heart who waits, always.

This is a simple share for Easter weekend. If your mind is loud or your body aches, pick up beads or your fingers and chant with us. Pray in your language. Ask for strength, peace, shelter. Offer hurts, regrets, and love. Forgive someone today, or ask to be forgiven. We try to do the same.

Sādhana bhakti, japa, the Maha Mantra, all welcome here. No hard rules, only sincerity. Join the chant, softly or out loud:

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare

Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare

May this practice steady you through grief, fasting, travel, money stress, near misses, and tender marriage moments. May the birdsong guide your breath. May the Supreme Architect hold you, time after time.

If this helped, share the mantra with a friend, add your prayer below, and subscribe for more quiet forest meditations, mantra practice, and open-hearted talks.
