#32 - Walking Barefoot on Sacred Grounds at a Stunning Beach: A Journey Through Fasting & Reflection

Barefoot at St Michael’s Mount, we ground on sand, share Easter water fast plans, prayer, mantra, and simple ways to move lymph. A bright day by the sea, salt on the air, toes in the sand. We talk grounding, cold and hot water, and why a simple walk on the beach can settle the belly and calm the nerves. Dry brushing gets a shout too. We’ll demo it with clothes, then you can try it at home.

Easter weekend, we’re keeping a 72 hour water fast, beginning Thursday night and closing Monday afternoon. Plain water with a pinch of salt, black coffee or tea if needed. Gentle movement, deep belly breathing, and lots of quiet. Autophagy after about 36 to 48 hours, the body tidies house and clears the old. We retreat for prayer and chant. The Lord’s Prayer side by side with the Mahamantra. Love to Saint Ignatius, Saint Julian of Norwich, and Teresa of Ávila. Gratitude to Jesus the Christ for mercy and radical forgiveness. We sit with sunrise and moonset, in woods and stillness, and send blessings to all our relations.

Food talk, bhakti style. Offer simple vegetarian foods, no meat, fish, eggs, gelatin, or rennet. Leaf, fruit, flower, water, as the Gita says. Wait a breath, feel the yes, then honor the prasadam. Offer incense, share the scent, let the heart remember home.
