Two new ACM wins announced, Ian Munsick's key role in Lainey Wilson's love life | Music City Minute

Description
Two new Academy of Country Music awards were presented last week. Miranda Lambert, the most awarded artist and ACM history, had the pleasure of delivering the news to Red Clay Strays that they had the ACM for New Group or Duo, marking the band's first ACM award. Meanwhile, Zach Top found out that he won the ACM for Best New Male Artist via a heartfelt video from country icons, Brooks & Dunn. A huge congratulations on the early awards!
It turns out, Ian Munsick and his wife, Caroline, played a role in Devlin Hodges' and Lainey Wilson's first "meet cute." Munsick explained that he was throwing an album release party for "Coyote Cry" in 2021, and Lainey was at the top of the guest list. The "Watermelon Moonshine" singer revealed she was talking to a guy, but they hadn’t gone on a date yet. Ian and Caroline decided that the album party was a great opportunity for the two to finally meet. Sparks flew between Hodges and Wilson and, well, the rest is history.

I'm Sheena, and that's your Music City Minute.
