Maremma is referred to as "Tuscany's Wild West," with scenic seaside villages, clifftop retreats, top restaurants, natural beauty and even a few traditional cowboys ("butteri"). Maremma wines range from crisp whites to elegant reds made from both native and international varieties. Riccardo Lepri, Tenuta Montauto, discusses his family's 60-year-old estate and artisan wines. Francesco Mazzei, owner, Belguardo Estate and President, Consorzio Tutela Vini Maremma discusses the wines and region.
