Jackson Jobe started on the mound for Detroit Tigers and tossed four innings allowing three earned runs. Houston Astros starter A.J. Blubaugh made his major league debut and allowed 7 runs with two of them being earned runs. Detroit Tigers bullpen allowed one earned run over 5 innings of work. Tommy Kahnle came in and earned the four out save for the Detroit Tigers. Detroit Tigers improve to 19-12 and are tied with New York Yankees for most wins in the American League.
