Miami, FL Surf Report for 04-29-2025

Description
Surf's up, beach lovers! The National Weather Service has some serious wave warnings for our coastal zones today.

Palm Beach and Broward beaches are in for a wild ride with high rip current risks through Thursday evening. Surfers and swimmers need to be extra cautious out there. We're looking at 2 to 3 foot surf heights with east winds cranking between 10 to 15 miles per hour.

The UV index is screaming extreme, so slather on that sunscreen unless you want to look like a lobster! Water temperatures are a toasty 80 degrees - perfect for those who want to cool down but not freeze.

Today's forecast offers mostly sunny skies with a cheeky chance of showers and maybe a surprise thunderstorm. Wednesday looks even cleaner with mostly sunny conditions and slightly calmer seas.

For our Naples and Marco Island beach buddies, things are a bit mellower. Low rip current risks and surf heights barely touching one foot mean a more relaxed beach day. Expect northeast winds around 5 to 10 miles per hour and temperatures in the mid 80s.

Important safety tip beach warriors: Just because the waves look chill doesn't mean they can't be tricky. Life-threatening rip currents can pop up near jetties, piers, and reefs - so stay alert and swim smart!

High tides and sunrise/sunset times are posted - check them out before you head out. Stay safe, have fun, and enjoy those Florida waves!
