Blake Rabinowitz is a 16-year-old poet, an author who has already published a book of poetry serving as a tool to help others, ​teens and adults alike. Blake has in fact done so with teens in school classrooms, and also has held workshops at senior centers. Using writing and journaling, Blake encourages us to write ourselves; to release the burdens we carry within, and to become who we are meant to be in this world. Blake began this writing in an English class, during her first year of high school. From there, it has fostered this new book entitled "Advice from the Older Sister I Never Had." Blake's hope is to further reinforce a long-standing goal to help others, particularly with her focus and initiative during Suicide Prevention Month this September.
