On this VIDEO episode of Southeast Iowa Today John Bain attends the Des Moines Co. No! To CWECS first meeting to inform people what is going on in Des Moines County Iowa regarding Commercial Wind Energy Conversion Systems. Henry County Watchmen LLC Member Melanie Patton addressed the crowd of around 100 people at the Danville Community Building in Danville, Iowa. Melanie shared what she and others have learned and the processes they went through to get the Henry County Board of Supervisors as well as the Planning & Zoning Commission to consider the zoning recommendations that Henry County Watchmen LLC put forth. All on the eve of the Henry County Board of Supervisors first Public Hearing for the proposed zoning rules. It all happened April 21, 2025.
