Q1. The LORD Jesus asked, “My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?” while He hung on the cross. Being omniscient because He is God, this would not have been done out of ignorance. Why did He ask such a question? Was this an expression of His intense suffering due to His human nature? There are many explanations as to what Jesus meant when He asked why God has forsaken Him. What is the correct understanding? In what way did God forsake Jesus?
