Help a Reporter Out Is Back: This Is the Guy Who Revived It - Brett Farmiloe

Season 1 Episode 658 Published 1Β year, 3Β months ago
Description

E658: Help a Reporter Out (HARO) has been relaunched with new rules - fully up-to-date. We're joined by Brett Farmiloe, who just acquired HARO, to explain what's up and what you need to know.

Brett bought HARO on the 15th of April, 2025. It previously shut down last year.

The relaunch is today - April 22, 2025.

The new HARO will take way more of a stance against spam, fake accounts, and low-effort contributions. The goal is to protect the journalists on the platform while still giving everybody a voice.

Brett Farmiloe is also the founder of Featured (formerly Terkel) and has extensive experience in this space. HARO will be iterating email by email, month by month, becoming something better than it was before.

All seasoned digital marketers have heard of HARO. But this is the HARO they don't know.
