On Monday, April 14, 2025, CBS talk show host, Gayle King, Katy Perry, journalist and philanthropist, Lauren Sánchez, film producer, Kerianne Flynn, former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, a Bahamian-American aerospace engineer, along with Civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen (thus the rocket person)

Blue Origin’s historic 11-minute trip to space – they went up … they came down!

IN THE 1930s the three black women mathematicians hired by NASA for calculating trajectory data were Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson. They were instrumental in NASA’s early space program, particularly during the Space Race, and their work is often highlighted in the movie “Hidden Figures.” Gayle King now believes herself to be an astronaut – I see her as an ass-tro-NUT.
