Anyone visiting the Grampians (Gariwerd in the local Aboriginal language) is struck by the mountainous landscapes, dramatic rock formations and abundant wildlife. Adrian Manikas knows the place better than most: his Halls Gap company leads guided and catered walking tours through the national park at various levels of luxury. Good food is important to the hiking experience: as Adrian says, people will put up with almost anything during the day if they have a great meal at night. We visit MacKenzie Falls and talk walks.
