Aaron Hale initially joined the Navy as a cook. He then transferred to the Army to become an Explosive Ordinance Disposal Specialist.
An IED blast took his sight and two years later he lost his hearing. But he did not give up.
Thanks to a specially adapted kitchen, he began cooking again. He was making so much fudge that his wife began giving it away - and people asked for more!
