Baker School for Public Policy and Public Affairs, is proud to present a compelling debate on the following resolution: Be it resolved, persons born in the U.S. to temporarily or illegally present parents are U.S. citizens by birthright under the Fourteenth Amendment. Arguing the affirmative is Vikram Amar, Distinguished Professor of Law, University of California, Davis School of Law. Arguing the negative is Chuck Cooper, Founding Member and Chairman of Cooper & Kirk, PLLC.
