Episode Details

Litter On The Breeze - the podcast about the music, stories and the fans of Suede - returns for a chat with none other than Billboard, SPIN, LA Times and many other places writer, Lily Moayeri! We talk about how her career in music journalism began, her predilection for British bands which itself comes from a very moving back story, the efforts she went through to talk to Suede for the first time and her many dealings with the band since!

Show Notes:

• As promised, here is a link to Lily's podcast archive. I highly recommend you listen to the interview with Brett that you'll find on the first page...and then listen to the rest!  You'll be able to find access to her interview archive and newsletter from there too.
• 'Can't Be Sure'. I'd have played the whole song if I could. A worthy winner of the 1989 Festive Fifty. If only more people had bought the thing..
• Here's 'Because The Night' from the BBC Radio 2 Piano Room. Mercifully superior to Jan Wayne's version. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you're lucky...
