The Chicago White Sox had a chance to at least tie last night's game in the ninth. It was Byron Buxton hurting the Sox again, this time with his glove, when he robbed Andrew Benintendi of a big hit. There are other reasons this latest defeat stung just a bit more than the others.

A big reason is Luke Keaschall had a great game, and the Twins rookie could have been on the White Sox had GM Chris Getz traded Erick Fedde to Minnesota at last year's trade deadline. Instead, Miguel Vargas was the major return in the Fedde/Michael Kopech three-team deal. With him struggling, and Keaschall thriving, the trade looks worse.
