Max Fried flirted with history, while Trent Grisham's bat suddenly showed signs of life.

Saturday offered the lone bright spot: a wild comeback capped by Jonathan Aranda's clutch, walk-off homer in the 10th — just hours after being bloodied earlier in the game. A night that started looking like another lifeless defeat turned into a season-reviving win.
