E253 - Strategies to Identify and Treat Binge Eating Disorder with Dr. Cynthia Bulik



Join Dr. Andy Cutler and Dr. Cynthia Bulik as they discuss the challenges of diagnosing and treating binge eating disorder (BED). They explore the genetics, neurobiology, and clinical course of BED that inform treatment decisions, and examine how advances in genetic research and emerging pharmacological options may improve outcomes for individuals with BED. 

Cynthia Bulik, PhD, FAED is a Distinguished Professor of Eating Disorders in the Department of Psychiatry, a Professor of Nutrition in the Gillings School of Global Public Health and the Founding Director of the Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.   

Andrew J. Cutler, MD is a distinguished psychiatrist and researcher with extensive experience in clinical trials and psychopharmacology. He currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Neuroscience Education Institute and holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.
