During Winter Break, Dick and Sabrina had the opportunity to speak with Terence Dove, a highly respected karting coach, who works with a full range of kart drivers, including various national and world championship winning drivers.
As you’ll hear, Terence is most interested in helping drivers use the world of karting and motor racing to become great people. This means the colossal unfairness, danger, constant failure and financial impossibility of motor racing are all totally necessary in that pursuit. He believes that karting is where drivers first get hit by these challenges, so karting is where it’s at for him.
The conversation touches on many esoteric concepts that as fans it is easy to miss, Dick and Sabrina were grateful that Terence shared so candidly and highlight elements of motorsport that often get overlooked.
