Before we can grow in our trust in the Lord, we have to understand what trust really means.

In this episode, we’re taking a deeper look at what the Bible means when it says, “Trust in the Lord.”

We’ll explore the Hebrew and Greek words for trust—unpacking their meaning and what they reveal about the kind of relationship God invites us into. Trust isn’t just about belief; it’s about leaning, resting, depending, and confidently placing our weight on who God is.

If you’ve ever wondered what trust looks like in real life or how to know if you’re really trusting God, this episode is a great place to start.

From the Episode:

Practical steps to improve our trust this week

1.  Reflect on this question:  Where are some areas that I am lacking trust in God?  (Write these down and look for ways this week that you can walk out trust in these areas).

2.  Read Hebrews 11:4-40 and change the word from 'faith' to 'trust'.  Look for ways that each person walked out that trust.

3.  Pray each morning about trust.  Example prayer:  Lord, I know you are (list an attribute) and that you promise to (list a promise from the Bible).  Please help me to trust you with all my heart and help me to walk out that trust in a way that pleases you.
