Professor Richard Epstein, pioneering Libertarian legal scholar, joins Jason Hartman to explain how income inequality is good for society, but is very dependent on the methods used to produce the best outcome. The current methods our government are attempting to use are causing job losses, it blocks gains in trade, the need for further public assistance increases, which in turn increases taxes, “yet another implicit drain on voluntary transactions,” Richard illustrates. Richard A. Epstein is the inaugural Laurence A. Tisch Professor of Law at NYU School of Law.
