: Today, Larry goes one on onewith Woodbine Track Announcer Robert Geller, who talks about how he has prepared over the off season for next Saturday’s Opening Day of the Thoroughbred season. Robert also discusses the steps for him tobecome a Racetrack Announcer and eventually ending up at Woodbine and talks about the upcoming Kentucky Derby and some of the horses that he believes have a chance to win, should they start on the
‘First Saturday in May’ .; Woodbine Apprentice Jockey Pietro Moran discusses the ‘highs’ and the ‘lows’ of last season and a highlight of winning his first stakes race as an Apprentice Jockey. He also  talks about whether having a father that is still riding , is like having his own personal coach on a daily basisand mentions how often he talks  with his father and seeking riding advice. Pietro also taks about what it would feel like to be named top Apprentice Jockey in Canada , at next week’s Sovereign Awards.; WoodbineStandardbred Trainer David Menary joins the show for the first time  and initially disusses what accounted for the career year he had in 2024. He also talks about some of his horses that helped to contribute  to his personal best season and also says when he was just starting out in the business whether  there was a Trainer that  he may have considered somewhat of a mentor for his own Training career.

He also mentions the path he took to becoming a Racetrack Announcer and whether he has any special Handicapping angles that he utilizes early in the Woodbine Thoroughbred Season and why the stategy differs  from angles later on in the meet.
