Austin Hays made a strong first impression in his Reds debut, going 2-for-4 with a three-run homer. Gavin Lux was perfect at the plate, finishing 4-for-4 to help power the offense. While Nick Lodolo struggled at times on the mound, the Reds bullpen picked him up with 4 1/3 shutout innings to secure the win.
