Qaunaq works as a facilitator and Inuktitut instructor while pursuing her art career. She is also the host of a podcast, "Inuk-Centric Podcast", where she interviews Inuit individuals about their lives. Her art often incorporates Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit (Inuit traditional knowledge)
